When I was little, my mum had the habit of buying me and my sister new clothes for Easter every year. Sometimes these new clothes would be chosen and bought even a month before the actual day they were supposed to be worn, and we would wait patiently for Easter Sunday. I loved eating chocolate eggs and observing the religious festivities at my mum's hometown (we would visit my grandparents every year in that time), but the thrill of new clothes was the best thing. Now that I'm an adult and my love for clothes got even more intensified, I decided that this year I would honour my childhood memories and I wore a piece of new clothing every day on this long weekend (good thing that I happen to have all these days off work too, hooray!). I saved the most special piece for Easter Sunday, this TBA dress that, too, was bought over a month ago and kept for a special occasion.
PS: Sorry for the wrinkles, silk is an amazing fabric to wear, but a pain when it comes to keep it wrinkle free.

That is such a nice memory to honor. And, you picked a beauty of a dress to do so with! I really like those fluttery sleeves :)
Happy Easter, Raquel!
You look reallu adorable! :)
What a lovely post, and I adore your dress x
This is such an unusual dress, I like all the detailing at the front ans silk is so beautiful. I think it has a slightly Edwardian look but your green tights keep it totally modern. The idea of getting special new clothes for Easter is great too.
the green tights are perfect for easter, and that dress is so lovely! I'm awful about getting stuff wrinkled, I'm such a mess.
Aww thats such a sweet tradition, and I love the dress. My best remedy for wrinkles is to hang it in the bathroom while you shower to steam out the wrinkles!
